About Our Program

Johnson County

We are an affiliate of the Dolly Parton Foundation's Imagination Library.
We provide 1 age-appropriate book each month to children in Johnson County, Tennessee under 5 years of age who are enrolled in the program. These books are mailed to the child's home monthly at no cost to the family. We currently have 723 Johnson County children enrolled in the Imagination Library program!
The Governor's Books from Birth Foundation funds 50% of the program in Johnson County. The remaining 50% is funded by Johnson County businesses, organizations, and other local donors. We need your help to reach our goal of providing our part of the funding.
$12.00 sponsors one child for a year. $60.00 sponsors one child for 5 years.
100% of local donations will be used to benefit Johnson County children.
